Located along the eastern shores of Hudson Bay on the Ungava Peninsula in Nunavik (Arctic Québec) this community was active from 1962 - 1989. Creating primarily stonecuts and a few stencils, a number of the makers becoming sought after for their depictions of legends and stories of Inuit life and are now eagerly sought by collectors.
