Not easily found, a fine collection of Greenland tupilaqs is featured in this collection. Carved in the early 1960’s, these beautifully made tupilaqs are sculpted from whale’s teeth representing classic images of shamanic creations used by the Inuit to avenge wrongdoing to themselves or their families. Alaskan cribbage boards are also on display including a very nice example of the Nunivak Island style. Several large Canadian serpentine sculptures and five 2013 works on paper by Kenojuak are available as well.
