The Magnificent Polar Bear
One of the most powerful creatures on earth, the Polar Bear has, over the years, become the iconic symbol of the Arctic. Created by major artists of Baffin Island including Enook Manomie, Moshe Kelly, Pauloosie Adamie, Ashevak Tunnillie and Ashevak Adla, this collection, carved mostly in the 1990's, features beautiful serpentine bears in their various behaviors – dancing, stalking, sleeping, protecting their young.
